WHERE'D YOU GO, BERNADETTE, by Maria Semple

A story with comedic tones involving an eccentric, quirky family with a workaholic father, a mother assumed to be insane and a child prodigy who is just trying to fit in and all three trying to deal and fend off those nosy neighbors who can spread gossip faster than someone can spread butter on their toast.

The story is told from many different viewpoints and you become entangled in each characters lives and you begin to acclimate to each of their personalities. And just when you think you may have figured things out, a mystery unfolds and you don't want to put it down until the end.

This is a great fun, loving story full of quirky characters full of so much personality that you can't help but relate to them.
