Finished Broken Prince...and I can't believe I have to wait until Oct 17th to find out what happens next.

Even though this book focuses on adolescents nearing adulthood, their stories are what suck you in.  Some of their stories are still a mystery. Slowly things are disclosed but not enough to have the full picture. The first two books definitely keep you on the edge and you're  wanting more...and you just can't put the darn books down. Plus, there is a story of first love between two people who have had to deal with some ugly realities of the harshness of life.

As a reader you are desperately hoping for a happy-ever-after and you think you have it figured out, but yet again, there is another twist, or surprise that makes you think, holy shit, this is intense.

I'm anxiously waiting for October 17th...so, on that day, if my whereabouts become unknown... it's because I have gone off to some secluded place to enter the alternate world of the Royals and it's finale

Where do I even begin with this book? With the first  few pages, I was unsure with how I was going to be able to get through this book, but I quickly learned it’s not at all what it seemed it would be and I began to quickly fly through it. While reading, I couldn’t help but think about my own family, especially my grandmother, and all the things we shared and the stories she told. Makes me wish that I would have asked more, learned more, or had kept a notebook with the stories about her life, recipies and traditions. Which for Luna, she did.  Luna, the main character, began keeping a journal when she was young, off and on, and into adulthood.
